WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE AUSBG NATIONAL COMBINE

The ALL-UNITED STATES NATIONAL COMBINE presented by USA Select are events open to all players, but geared toward ages 8 thru 18, regardless of sport participating. The agenda for the day of the Combine is consistent for every combine location.

The Following Information is Consistent for Every Combine Location:

Event Check-in (Late Registration) begins at 8:30am and will close at 10:30am.

NOTE: the combine is a continuous flow so there is no official start and stop time for each athlete.

  • The combine will end when the final registered athlete completes all combine tests.

Please Note: Depending on when you arrive and the volume of athletes, you may experience a significant wait time to accommodate the number of athletes registered.

IMPORTANT DETAILS TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR USA SELECT COMBINE

To have the best USA Select Combine experience, read through this list of important information. Don’t forget to show this information to your parent, guardian and/or coach before the combine!

  • This is not a camp. There are no skill development drills or 1-on-1 challenges. In other words, there will be no footballs on the field!
  • You will receive a USA Select Combine shirt at registration.
  • Bring your football cleats – no track cleats are allowed.
  • Make sure to hydrate and eat a healthy breakfast before you arrive. Free hydration will be provided during the combine.
  • The USA Select Combine will not provide trainers for pre-taping.
  • Your combine results will be emailed to you after the event.
  • Only credentialed participants, combine staff, volunteers and media will be allowed access to the field.
  • The combine is rain or shine—hopefully, it’s only shine.
  • Athletes should leave phones and any personal items in their bags. The USA Select Combine is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Who can attend a USA Select Combine?

The USA Select Combines are a series of combines. Combines are geared toward athletes age 10 to 14. Top performers at a combine could earn an invitation to attend the “USA Select National Stage Combine” at a later date.

What is the cost to attend the USA Select Combines?

All USA Select Combines have a fee of $60 for pre-register. Walk-ups day of combine will be $65. Prospects must provide their own transportation to combines.

How do I register for a USA Select Combine?

Players can sign up for a combine by clicking on the registration link at www.all-unitedstatesgames.com. Advance registration is strongly suggested. Walk-ups are likely to be allowed to participate after the registered players have competed.

 

I registered for a USA Select Combine, what do I do now?

You will get a confirmation email letting you know that you have reserved a spot in the event. You will also receive reminders leading up to the event.

I am trying to register, but the website won’t let me—why?

This likely means that the event is full. Registration will remain open until the event reaches capacity. Once the event reaches capacity, registration will be closed. You can walk up on the day of the event, but registered athletes will be allowed through prior to any walk-ups.

I am trying to register for a combine, but it has reached capacity. What can I do?

There are some locations where we must limit capacity due to venues and scheduling. However, we do allow walk-ups at every combine. We will begin accepting walk-ups on the day of the combine and will allow them until we reach the end of the session.

If I walk up to an event, am I guaranteed a spot in the combine?

We can’t make any promises. If you do not pre-register we cannot guarantee that we will be able to get you in as a walk-up. However, it is likely we will be able to accommodate you, and we will do our best to get everyone onsite through the drills.

What happens at a USA Select Combine?

Players will have an opportunity to have their times recorded in all the key football testing areas. Players will be laser timed in the 40-Yard Dash (two runs, fastest time recorded), Shuttle Run (two runs, tests athlete’s lateral quickness and explosion), 3-Cone Drill (tests athlete’s ability to change directions at a high speed), Vertical Jump (measures lower-body explosion and power) and Broad Jump (tests athlete’s lower-body explosion and strength). All players who test at a USA Select Combine will receive a ZYBEK SPORTS report, so each player will have his picture taken and his height and weight measured. 

What should players bring to the combine?

Players participating in the USA Select Combine need to bring a pair of cleats. No track cleats are allowed. USA Select Combine will provide hydration; players are encouraged to eat a healthy breakfast the morning of the combine. We encourage you to leave any valuables at home and NOT bring them with you to the event. We are not responsible for any stolen or misplaced items!

What are the player benefits for attending a USA Select Combine?

In addition to receiving a ZYBEK SPORTS report, players who have recorded times from a reputable combine have a leg up when discussing scholarship opportunities with colleges. It also provides the athlete with a measure of what they need to improve on as an athlete, and where they stand among other athletes. Top performers at each combine will be invited to participate in the USA Select National Stage Combine  at a later date and venue.

Can I come to the USA Select Combines and watch?

Yes. We invite parents, friends and fans of the athletes to come and watch them test. However, please know that the space and location of the viewing area will vary greatly based on the venue.

How long does the testing take?

The amount of time you spend at the combine will vary depending on when you arrive and get in line for registration. Once you are through the registration line, the testing takes about an hour to complete.

How do I get my results?

After the event, your personal results will be emailed to your combine registration email.

How long will it take to get my results?

Your official results will be emailed to you within 24 hours of the event that you attended.

I received my scores but they are incorrect. What do I do?

If you feel that you were sent the incorrect data, you can email reports@zybeksports.com.
